TINTGEL™ · INSTALLATION GUIDE
Apply TintGel™ to the dot matrix area
TintGel™ fills the black dot matrix area on the vehicle window and helps the window film lie evenly against the glass. The result is a smoother, more professional finish without the white air gap that can otherwise appear around the dots.
Before you begin
Important before application
Do not apply TintGel™ in direct sunlight or at a temperature below +15 °C. The glass and dot matrix area must be thoroughly cleaned and completely dry before the gel is applied.
HOW TINTGEL™ WORKS
A smoother finish along the dot matrix edges
1. Fills uneven areas
TintGel™ fills the spaces between the dots where window film can otherwise have difficulty lying completely against the glass.
2. Activates during installation
The installation fluid softens and activates the gel when the window film is placed on the glass.
3. Forms a transparent barrier
After drying, it forms a transparent filler that reduces white air gaps and helps prevent the edges from lifting.

STEP BY STEP
How to apply TintGel™
Choose a suitable workspace
Park the vehicle in a garage or a well-shaded, sheltered location. Do not carry out the application in direct sunlight.
Check the temperature
The temperature during application must be at least +15 °C. Make sure that both the glass and the surroundings are at a suitable temperature.
Clean the glass thoroughly
Clean the entire inside surface of the vehicle window. Pay particular attention to the dot matrix area and remove dirt, grease and other deposits from between the dots.
Allow the glass to dry completely
Wait until the window is completely dry. Check particularly that no moisture remains between or around the dots.
Apply a thin layer of TintGel™
Apply a thin, even layer over the entire dot matrix area using a clean bristle or foam brush. Avoid unnecessarily thick layers and visible lumps.
Allow the gel to dry
Allow TintGel™ to dry for approximately 15 minutes before continuing with the window film installation.
Activate the gel and install the window film
Spray installation fluid onto the window according to the standard instructions for the window film. TintGel™ will soften slightly and be activated by the installation fluid.
Position the window film on the glass and push out the fluid using overlapping strokes. Reduce the pressure noticeably when the squeegee reaches the dot matrix area. TintGel™ must be allowed to fill the space between the glass and the film.
Allow the area to dry undisturbed
Allow the window film and TintGel™ to dry together without disturbance. Do not press on the dot matrix area while it is drying. The gel will set, fill the uneven areas and form a transparent barrier without the typical white air gap.
After installation
Allow the installation fluid, window film and TintGel™ sufficient time to dry. Do not press, rub or use the squeegee over the dot matrix area while it is drying.
Removable window film
When installing removable window film, TintGel™ can also be applied in a thin layer along the outer edges of the film. This helps the film remain securely in place and reduces the risk of the edges lifting.
